Report on Seventh Annual General Body

The Seventh Annual General Body meeting of Karnataka IA & AD Pensioners’ Association was held on 15 July 2017 at Rangamandira Eastern Quadrangle O/o The Accountant General (A&E), Bangalore. The meeting commenced at 11 AM. Nearly 330 members attended the meeting. The AGM completed the adoption of Annual Report, Accounts   there were no elections in this meeting as the tenure of office bearers is two years and present committee members’ tenure ends in 2018

The meeting was converted to open session at 12noon.  The open session was inaugurated by Shri BK Mukharjee IA&AS, Accountant General (E&RSA), Bengaluru. After invocation by Shri A Krishna and lighting of lamp by chief guest and Guest of honour Shri KO Manjunath, Sr. DAG (Admin) of O/o AG (A&E) The Secretary in his brief report explained the aims and objectives of the Association.  He also thanked the AGs of both Audit and A&E offices for constituting Cell to revise the pension of pre-2016 retirees.  .  He mentioned that the Association conducted Cultural Fest on 17 June 2017 to its members, their spouse and grandchildren He also mentioned that Association is taking up many charitable and social activities for the welfare of society. 5 senior members above 80 years were honoured in the open session.  Inaugurating the ‘Open Session’ Chief Guest appreciated the good work is being done by the association to the society and to welfare of its members. He assured all the help to the Association.   Sr. DAG greeted the meeting and assured that revision of pre-2016 retirees will be completed expeditiously. There was a festive mood and it looked like family get together. Many of the members had also come with their family members.  It was pleasure for everyone to meet their old friends and colleagues and recollect the pleasant past and discuss their present activities. 

The AGM concluded at 1.30 PM with National Anthem.
